This marker features opaque liquid chalk, ideal for use on dark backgrounds. It can be wiped from almost all smooth surfaces using a damp cloth. Shake well before use.

Warning: liquid chalk is not suitable for use on all chalkboards. While modern chalkboards are often non-porous, older chalkboards are made with slate and will absorb the liquid chalk, making it difficult to remove. Test your board by wiping it with a wet cloth. If it does not dry quickly, avoid using liquid chalk on it. Surfaces painted with chalk paints can also be porous, depending on the type of paint, use of primers or even the number of coats; ask your local paint shop for advice if you want a non-porous finish, and test the surface before use.
